Lets Rodeo, San Antonio: Everything You Need to Know

One of San Antonio’s most beloved events, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is an 18-day rodeo extravaganza that promises “more than an 8 second ride.” And if you’ve ever experienced the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, you know how true that phrase is.

More than just a traditional Rodeo competition, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo truly offers an experience, with a stock show complete with cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and goats, shopping booths, family activities such as a petting zoo and pony rides, concerts, beer gardens, educational exhibits to teach farm to table practices, and even a Cowboy Church.
While visiting the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has been a right of passage for many a San Antonian, it’s also something you can truly feel good about- and it’s not just because of the entertainment. Money raised at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo goes back to the community, helping educate the Youth of Texas through scholarships! In fact, over $186 million has been given since inception- a remarkable amount of money!
