Michael is a graduate of Smithson Valley High School ('84) and the University of Texas at Austin. He has come to learn and appreciate the uniqueness of San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. In 1982, Michael's father moved his family to the Texas Hill Country to help develop ranchland in Comal County.
